This policy explains what personal data Eventful Tables collects, why, and what we do with it. We follow the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Short version: we collect what we need to run your bookings and nothing more, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

Waitlist: your email, and your WhatsApp number if you give it.
Account: your email, your sign-in codes, and your Eventful Coins balance and history.
Bookings: your name, email, phone number if you give it, party size, the restaurant, date and timing, and whether you arrived (the QR scan at the restaurant).
On your device: we use your browser's local storage to remember your bookings and sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers.

Why we collect it

To make your reservation and send your QR ticket and sign-in codes by email.
To tell the restaurant who is coming: they see your name, party size, timing and discount, nothing else.
To run Eventful Coins: earning, spending and expiry.
To send service messages about your booking, like a cancellation notice.
Waitlist emails get one launch email. Any other marketing only happens if you say yes, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

Only the restaurant you book (so they can serve you) and the services that run this platform for us:

Vercel hosts the site. Neon stores our database.
Resend sends our emails. FormSubmit delivers waitlist signups to our inbox.
Stripe handles restaurant billing. Diners never pay through us, and we never see anyone's card number.

Some of these providers store data outside Singapore. Where they do, we rely on providers whose protection is comparable to the PDPA, as the PDPA requires. We never sell or rent personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active or while we need it for bookings, billing records and legal requirements. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data unless the law requires us to keep a record.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent and have your data deleted. Email contact@eventful-sg.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it here with a new date, and email account holders if the change affects them.
